Information was the same from 86-88 and 95-98, manual is inclusive of those years. Does the dealer really add the fork oil? seems like that would be a factory issue espically in regard to warranty. I would think the only thing the dealer would add would be the fuel, but automotive front end parts come with only assembly lube so they do not have to include a MSDS form and the installer has to lube these parts as needed. Maybe the same mindset applies to fluids in motorcycles. When I did PDS (pre delivery servie) on new vehicles years ago we only had to verify fluid levels (except fuel) as correct.
